About the Institute

Seeking Balance.
Advancing Colorado.

Founded in 2020 and incorporated in 2026, the Renhorne Policy Institute was established to seek balance through research, advocacy, and consensus building. In service of Colorado families, businesses, and communities.

Our Mission

Renhorne Institute is focused on issues that affect Colorado families, businesses, and communities. Our work is grounded in policy and data-driven advocacy, seeking not partisan advantage, but durable, evidence-based outcomes.

We view our issues through a stewardship lens rather than a partisan one. We work with all individuals regardless of affiliation, because the most consequential challenges facing Colorado require common ground, not ideological purity.

From Colorado's economy and governance to its unique civil rights issues, Renhorne Policy engages the most consequential questions facing our state with rigor, depth, and intellectual honesty.

Independent. Rigorous. Colorado.

Core Principles

What We Stand For

01

Independence

We accept no government funding. Our research is driven by evidence and principle, never by political convenience.

02

Rigor

Every analysis we publish meets the highest standards of academic and empirical integrity.

03

Impact

We measure success by the quality of ideas that reach lawmakers, not by the volume of papers produced.

04

Endurance & Ingenuity

Lasting change requires both. Endurance is the willingness to stay the course on hard problems; ingenuity is the capacity to find new paths when old ones close. Together, they are the engine of meaningful reform.
